STONEHAVEN TRAGEDY
We would like to give our very sad condolences to the families and friends of the three victims of the Stonehaven tragedy on behalf of all RMT members in Edinburgh and Portobello District branch.
Words cannot convey the sadness at such a loss.
We also thank the rail workers and emergency services who attended the scene of the incident and did all they could in very difficult and heartbreaking circumstances.
Our full support and solidarity to Aberdeen No1 branch secretary Mike Rollo and members who will be helping to support our guard Donald Dinnie's family
Our union will continue to fight for a rail system that is as safe as possible.
Safety will continue to be our priority.
